Krista Citra Joonas is an Estonian musician whose main instrument has become the bansuri, a bamboo flute of Indian origin. Having studied classical occidental music in Estonian and Swiss academies, she has since turned towards oriental music and has been studying traditional Indian music in Mumbai under the tutelage of the renowned Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. She has performed, playing either the saxophone or the bansuri, alongside many fantastic musicians in Estonia as well as elsewhere in the world.
